MDA National and RDAA #DestinationRural Bursary
The MDA National and RDAA #DestinationRural Bursary is offered to seven
junior doctors annually, with each receiving $1500 to undertake a rural
clinical placement, attend a rural health conference, or attend a skills
workshop in a rural town.

MDA National and RDAA Rural Health Bursary
The MDA National and RDAA Rural Health Bursary was offered to an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander medical student each year from 2015 to 2020, before being replaced by the MDA National and RDAA #DestinationRural Bursary. The MDA National and RDAA Rural Health Bursary supported travel and accommodation to attend a rural
clinical placement, a rural health conference or a skills
workshop in a rural town, or to undertake research that would benefit rural and remote communities and patients.
